Hi Parishoners,

I am wondering if anyone has a photo of my maternal grandma, Margaret Rogers Ward , first wife of Michael Ward.  She died at the tender age of 22. Our mom,  Mary Ward O'Keefe did have a picture, but it got lost in the house fire.   I very much appreciate your help. God-Bless!

I happened across this site and noticed the death of Father David Heale who was born in St. John's, Nfld., My later husband Henry (aka Harry) Heale, also born in St.John's, Nfld., also passed away in 2008.  As I have been doing some family tree tracing, I would like to know if there is a connection between the two families.   My husband' father was Arthur Heale and his mother was the fromer Jessie Cook.  I would appreciated hearing from soneone at jinnybug&@shaw. ca.  Thank you and God Bless.

Sorry, but I didn't know Father Heale's family. Father Heale was parish priest here in Carbonear, but his family are from St. John's. Hopefully, someone else will read your post and be able to help with some information. Thanks for visiting our web site, and God Bless also.

Please contact the Parish Office at 709-596-5232 or 596-3939 for more information.

I recently found out that James Rowe (born Oct 1845, died Jan 9th 1935, married to Mary Rowe) and buried in the old section of St Patrick's cemetery was my great great grandfather.

I am taking a one week vacation to NFLD and I plan to be visiting the Carbonear area on approximately Aug 2nd, 2013 where I plan on visiting the  wonderful church and my great great grandfather's grave.

I would appreciate any information on James Rowe, Mary Rowe or any of their heirs.
